The spokesman for the General Electricity Company of Libya ( GECOL), Weam Al-Tayeb, has confirmed the abundance of energy, so that the company does not have to adopt the power cuts plan.

“This came through the efforts made by the company's technicians, under the direct supervision of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, in order to raise production capacity and maintain the stability of the network”, Al-Tayeb told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper, Al-Tayeb told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper.

The company's spokesperson did not confirm the continuation of this stability when reaching the peak period in the summer, but he confirmed that the network conditions next summer will be much better.
