The General Electricity Company confirmed, on Saturday, the completion of charging of the Fajij-Ubari 220 kV circuits, to contribute to the transfer of energy produced from Ubari power plant to the public network, especially the southern regions of Libya.

The company also stated, in a statement that the maintenance teams of the West Tobruk Distribution Department continued their efforts to improve the network.

 It is working on repairing the damaged low-pressure cables and installing new distribution boxes in place of the dilapidated ones, as part of the campaign to replace the old and dilapidated distribution boxes, GECOL added.
