The Executive Director of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Ali Sassi agreed, Thursday, with the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, Khaled Mazen to develop a plan in order to ensure equitable distribution of load shedding hours between cities.
The regional security directorates and the general support department were assigned to coordinate with the company's offices located within the directorates to tighten security measures on control rooms and power transformation stations, in order to enable the company to perform its duty to the fullest extent possible, according to a GECOL statement on Facebook.
