The General Electric Company of Libya (GECOL) announced that the maintenance process of Khoms steam station will be completed before the end of this year, pointing out that this process will increase the public network's capacity by about 600 megawatts.

This came during the convening of the GECOL general assembly under the chair of the Presidential Council's head Fayez Al-Sarraj.

The assembly members reviewed the company's activities and the report of the Special Supervisory Authority, as well as the adoption of the estimated budgets for the year 2019, and the needs of the company and its employees.
