A technical team from the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) of Tripoli's department has started repair work on damaged lines in Bir El-Osta Milad and Ein Zara districts under challenging conditions, the GECOL confirmed.
On its Facebook page, the company explained that it is waiting to be given a safe passage to the area of Salahaddin, in order to carry out maintenance work in the east and south parts of Tripoli after power lines in these areas were cut due to the clashes that took place on Monday.
