German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Germany comes inline with Italy in terms of its policy towards the Libyan crisis.

Merkel expressed during her meeting with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Berlin on Friday, her government's readiness to contribute to a possible second round of a peace process in Libya.

She also asserted Germany's follow-up to the outcome of the Palermo Conference, which was hosted by Italy last November.
