The German Ambassador to Libya, Ralph Tarraf, has underscored his country's readiness to provide all support for the success of the political process, and to achieve the aspirations of the Libyan people, by conducting elections, and achieving lasting stability and peace.
Deputy President of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, received the German ambassador Sunday, on the occasion of assuming his duties in the capital, Tripoli.
According to a statement issued by the Presidential Council, Al-Lafi praised Germany’s keen interest to find a political and peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis, through the Berlin process.
Al-Lafi stressed the importance of combining all local and international efforts to build peace in Libya and restore security and stability.
