The German Permanent Deputy Representative to the United Nations (UN), Gunter Sautter, announced on Friday that a high level meeting is due to be held on the Libyan crisis on Monday in order to assist the ceasefire in the country.

The German official explained in a press conference at the UN headquarters that the meeting would focus on four important points including encouraging the participants to confirm their commitment to the outcomes of the Berlin conference, acceleration of the ceasefire efforts, commitment to the arms embargo, and support to the UN efforts in the political process.
