German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said that his country stands strongly and supports the political path designated by the UN mission to solve the Libyan crisis.

Maas messaged Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Sayala "it is very important to communicate with the Libyans and inform them of the course and preparations for the Berlin Conference", adding that this would enable the conference to lay down general frameworks for a successful internal Libyan reconciliation process.
