The Cabinet of the Government of National Unity (GNU) has allocated 20 million dinars for the health official in Milan, Italy to cover the costs of treatment for the wounded Libyans in Italian hospitals.

The decision of the Council of Ministers, issued on October 10, stipulated that the amount was allocated according to the instructions of the Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, to be deducted from Chapter 5 of the budget, which concerns emergency expenditures.

The debts accumulated for the treatment of the sick and wounded Libyan citizens in Tunisia alone, exceeded approximately 270 million dinars, according to the Tunisian Syndicate Chamber of Owners of Private Clinics.
