A committee overseeing the status of foreign embassies and diplomatic missions in Libya held its second meeting on Sunday to discuss the legalities surrounding embassy properties, including ownership and leasing.
The committee, affiliated with the Government of National Unity (GNU), emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to facilitate the return of embassies to Tripoli in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Its composition comprises representatives from various state bodies, including the State Property Authority, Real Estate Registration Authority, and the Diplomatic Security Administration.
