The Government of National Unity (GNU) has declared next Sunday and Monday as an official holiday on the occasion of the International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day.

Monday, May 1, is a paid day off for public sector except for facilities with urgent humanitarian and security services, while preserving their right to obtain work compensation for this day in accordance with the provisions of the law, while Sunday, April 30, is a leave that will be deducted from the employee’s annual leave.
