The Government of National Unity announced on Monday the launch of a new airline company that aims to address the current conditions of airline companies, according to Hakomitna platform on its Facebook page.
Head of GNU Abdul Hamid Dbeibah held a meeting in his office on Monday with Minister of Transport Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi, Head of the Executive Team for Prime Minister's Initiatives and Strategic Projects Mustafa Al-Manea, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Afriqiyah Airways Ahmed Al-Amin.
Hakomitna platform said that the meeting was devoted to following up on the launch of the new airline, which comes "within the framework of an advanced investment vision aimed at improving the sector's competitiveness at the global level, in line with the government's plan to develop airports in various cities."
