A group of twenty-seven Libyan children with autism spectrum disorder arrived at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, returning from a treatment trip at the Jordanian Autism Academy.

The Ministry of Social says Libyan children with autism will continue their rehabilitation programs at autism centres that were recently established and equipped as part of the Government of National Unity's (GNU) strategy to localize treatment within the country.

It indicated that specialized committees appointed by the ministry have recently taken a series of measures to equip several autism centres, including the National Centre for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Children with Autism in Tripoli.
