Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Issa, welcomed the Philippine Embassy's Charge d'Affaires to Libya, Alan Roy Gabariolo, at the ministry's HQ in Tripoli on Monday.
According to Libya's Foreign Ministry, the meeting focused on activating cooperation agreements between the two nations across various fields.
The discussion also addressed ways to resolve the challenges faced by Filipino workers in Libya.
Issa expressed the GNU's interest in strengthening ties with East Asian countries, including the Philippines, and wished Gabariolo success in his duties in Libya.
