Ministry of Social Affairs of the Government of National Unity organized a meeting on Friday to discuss the impact of the Sudanese refugees on Libya and to assist the refugees humanely.
The attendees stressed the need to raising the level of readiness to confront the effects of the war in Sudan.
The meeting was chaired by director of the Technical Cooperation Office at the Ministry of Social Affairs, and attended by the director of the Humanitarian Affairs Office, the director of the Department of Persons with Special needs, and other officials from the Ministry.
The attendees discussed the conditions of the displaced on the Libyan-Sudanese border and some indicators about the impact of the war on Libya, and the measures and procedures that must be taken towards the displaced families in coordination with the United Nations and its humanitarian organizations.
