The Government of National Unity (GNU) sent on Sunday two planes of humanitarian aid and a relief team to Syria.

The planes were loaded with food, medicine, children's clothes and tents, accompanied by a number of volunteers from the Libyan Red Crescent and the Relief Authority, the Hakometna platform said.

Earlier, the government announced that the Libyan rescue team in Turkey was able to rescue a woman and a child, locate a person alive, and extract three bodies from under the rubble of collapsed buildings.
