Coinciding with the shrub season 2022/23, the Libyan Reforestation campaign launched on Friday its 10th "Golden Season" in the Al Shafin Msallata Reserve.

The campaign involves planting 500 seedlings, including 300 endangered Batum shrubs, 100 fruitful pine, and 100 seedlings of Indian almonds, both of which are of high economic feasibility.

In a Facebook post, the Reforestation Campaign said this year's campaign was characterized by the active participation of civil society organizations across Libya and with the cooperation of the Scouts and Environmental Sanitation and the Red Crescent of  Garabulli branch.
