Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that he wouldn't engage in daily verbal confrontation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, pointing out that he clearly expressed his country's position at the Prague summit.

Regarding the Turkish-Libyan memorandum,  Mitsotakis said in an interview with Athens TV 1 that no one recognizes that MoU, stressing at the same time that Athens wants to open the door to communication with Libya in order to demarcate the economic zone, so that Greece can look into joint exploitation of hydrocarbons' production resources with Libya.

The Greek Prime Minister also unveiled that within a day or two, seismic surveys for natural gas exploration will begin in two zones at southwest of Peloponnese and Crete by the American company ExxonMobil to contribute to energy security on a larger scale in the region.
