Director of so-called ‘Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya’, Belkacem Haftar, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Egyptian Arab Contractors Company to implement the part passing through Libya of the international road "Egypt - Libya - Chad".
The Fund stated, in a post on its Facebook page, that the road will link Libya, Egypt and Chad, and the length of the part located in Libya will be 393 kilometers, starting from Al-Awaynat on the border with Egypt to the border of Chad.
It stated that the start of the project implementation would be in in the near future, noting that the international road reaches the Red Sea, to be the commercial desert road for transit trade as a first stage.
