Khaled Al-Mishri, President of the High Council of State (HCS), headed a consultative session for the council Monday to discuss several political files.

At the HCS HQ in Tripoli, the members exchanged notes on the constitutional track, the progress towards the electoral process, and the economic situation in the country, according to the HCS media office.

On Tuesday, the joint committee consisting of 24 members of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the HCS will take place in Cairo, Egypt, in the presence of the UN Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams.
