The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, has held talks with the Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, on the political and security situation in the country and the mechanism for reaching consensual electoral laws that enable legislative and presidential elections to be held.
The economic situation and public spending were also discussed in light of the institutional division and the existence of a parallel government, reviewing ways to form a higher financial committee that would prepare financial arrangements approved by the Presidential Council.
