The High Council of State (HCS) Head Khaled Al-Mishri and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu have affirmed their unified position to hold elections in Libya as soon as possible, on a sound legal and constitutional base.
The two sides discussed during a meeting Monday in Istanbul the bilateral relations and ways to develop them at all levels to serve the interests of both nations, a statement by the HCS said on Facebook.
Al-Mishri also checked on the status of President Recep Erdogan, his wife, and the Turkish Minister of Defence after the news of their infection with the Coronavirus, as the Foreign Minister confirmed that they are in good health.
