Member of High Council of State, Mansour Al-Hasadi, has called for an international protection of civilians in the city of Derna, pointing out to the large number of families who had to flee their homes in the district of Fatayeh in search of another safe place in the city.

Al-Hasadi said in a press statement that the families are living in panic and fear in Fatayeh, which led to the closure of schools and the fleeing of families from the district, describing it as a shameful act.

"Who gave the orders to invade the city?" Al-Hasadi asked, making clear that those behind this attack will bear moral obligation to civilians

He further expressed his regret for the silence of the House of Representatives and the Presidential Council on these violations against children and citizens.
