The National Security Committee of the High Council of State (HCS), headed by Wanis Saeed, held a meeting on Wednesday, with the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Economy and Labour, the Director of Labour Housing, the Office of Experts at the Ministry of Labour, and the head of the Employment Department at the General Administration of Passports, to discuss the situation of foreign workers in the country.
During the meeting, a set of regulatory and legislative measures were discussed aimed at controlling the entry, residence and work of foreigners in Libya, provided that the HCS is responsible for following up on the implementation of these measures with the relevant authorities.
The committee indicated that this meeting comes as a continuation of its work related to the foreigners presence, both civil and military, in the country.
