The Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Assembly (CDA), Noah Abdel-Sayed, stressed the assembly's adherence to the constitutional declaration, which is approved by the Libyan people and refusal to any attempt to circumvent or exceed its texts by any party what so ever.

In a press statement, Noah said that the House of Representatives (HoR) did not respond, up to this moment, to the demands of the CDA on the need to finalize the referendum law.

He further noted that the CDA addressed international bodies and political parties in Libya regarding this issue, explaining that the CDA does not have any authority over the House of Representatives.

Noah confirmed that the adoption of the referendum law on the draft constitution is an important step to reached an advanced stage in resolving the Libyan crisis.
