A member of the public has returned the head of a marble statue that dates back to the Greek era, to the Shahat Antiquities Inspectorate.
The Inspectorate praised the citizen, Mohamed Buajba, on its Facebook page on Wednesday, noting his "devotion to himself, his country and his history".
Another citizen had previously handed over the head of another marble statue to the Tourist Police and Antiquities Protection Department in the eastern region of the city of Shahat.
