The head of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, said on Wednesday that Libyan oil production amounted to approximately one million barrels per day, adding that the target for the NOC is to raise production to 1.25 million barrels per day by the end of 2017, which Sanallah said would be very difficult.
Sanallah stated in a press conference that the NOC received only 25 percent of its budget for 2017, adding that Libyan representatives explained to OPEC and non-OPEC members, the challenges in the production of oil and they understood those challenges.
