The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hussein Ibrahim Taha, affirmed the permanent position of the bloc in support of Libya.

During his reception to the Director of the Department of Islamic Affairs at Libya's Foreign Ministry, Saif Ahmed Al-Bey, in Jeddah, Taha reaffirmed the organization's support for Libya's unity, the integrity of its lands, and efforts to hold elections.

He expressed support for all initiatives that contribute to resolving the Libyan crisis politically, to ensure the return of security and stability in Libya, and fulfill the aspirations of the Libyan people, a readout by the organization said.
