The Audit Bureau has suspended the head of the Follow-up Committee for Treatment, Abu Bakr Al-Jaffal, from work for obstructing the procedures for paying the ongoing treatment debts in Tunisia.

In a letter to the Minister of Finance, the Audit Bureau attributed the reasons for the procedure to the intervention of Al-Jaffal in canceling the decision to authorize spending 150 million dinars as an advance from the account of the Debt Committee abroad, and allocating 100 million dinars to solve the problems of stopping treatment of patients in Tunisia.

The Audit Bureau called on the Ministry of Finance to clarify the reasons for stopping or canceling the decision in light of the suspension of providing treatment services to Libyan patients as a result of the accumulation of dues from the state.
