Deputy Prime Minister/ Acting Health Minister, Ramadan Abu Janah, has chaired a high-level meeting to assess the country’s current epidemic situation.
Held with senior officials and a representative from the World Health Organization, the session focused on Libya's emergency health response plans and the preparedness of the national health system.
The ministry emphasized the importance of equipping healthcare workers and strengthening laboratory capacity to respond swiftly to emerging health threats.
Abu Janah also underlined the need to supply primary healthcare units and hospitals with the necessary medical resources to ensure effective nationwide coverage.
