The Minister of Health in the Presidential Council government, Omar Bashir, said that he gave instructions to provide the hospitals in the south with all essential needs, including medicines, equipment and other medical supplies that are immediately required.

The Information Office of the Ministry of Health clarified through its Facebook Monday that Bashir chaired an expanded meeting Sunday in the presence of directors of hospitals located in the southern region to assess the needs of health centres in the south.

The meeting is part of the ministry's plan, which aims to provide the most urgent needs for all sections of hospitals, and to support it with human resources, in addition to carrying out electromechanical works in order to enable public hospitals to operate at full capacity.
