A member of the Sovereign Positions Committee of the High Council of State, Hassan Habib, said that the council began Sunday, to receive the files of those wishing to run for sovereign positions, and the council will discuss, in its session on Tuesday, the sovereign positions item.

Habib said in a press statement that the positions are the head of the Audit Bureau, deputy governor of the Central Bank of Libya, deputy of the Anti-Corruption Authority, and deputy of the Administrative Control Authority, indicating that receiving files will continue until next Thursday.

He pointed out that the HCS will start screening as soon as the files are accepted, and then send the names to the House of Representatives. Habib explained that the Council will meet on Tuesday with the Sovereign Positions Committee in Parliament to agree on the issue of selecting all sovereign positions and to consider whether the Parliament Committee is satisfied with the names previously proposed by the HCS committee.
