The High National Election Commission has announced that the number of registered voters for the municipal elections has reached 440,881, both male and female, in 62 municipal councils so far.
The number of registered men is 310,788, and the number of registered women is 130,093, HNEC explained, calling on citizens to actively participate in the electoral process.
HNEC also announced the extension of voter registration for the "second batch" of municipal elections to April 6, which was scheduled to end on March 15.
