The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has reported that the number of registered voters for the municipal council elections had risen to about 176,339 voters.
HNEC reported in its regular statistics that the number of male voters totaled more than 128,360, while the number of female voters totaled more than 47,979.
HNEC reiterated that Saturday is the last day to register for the municipal council elections, which will be held in 60 municipalities targeted for the first phase.
