The head of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has held talks with French Ambassador Mostafa Mihraje on the country’s preparedness to conduct municipal elections.
The discussions, which took place at the commission’s headquarters, focused on efforts to ensure the elections meet international standards.
Ambassador Mihraje reaffirmed France’s support for Libya’s electoral process, commending the commission’s work to uphold transparency and fairness.
He also reiterated his country’s willingness to provide technical and advisory assistance to help ensure the success of the upcoming elections.
