The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Emad Al-Sayeh, met on Sunday with Finance Minister Khaled Al-Mabrouk to discuss preparations for the second round of municipal council elections, set to take place in January 2025.
The meeting, held at the HNEC headquarters in Tripoli, saw Al-Mabrouk congratulating the Commission on the successful completion of the first round of municipal elections in 2024.
He also praised the HNEC efforts to ensure readiness for upcoming electoral processes.
