The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has published a statement on its official website declaring force majeure and condemning the use of military force against it by a presidential candidate of dual citizenship.
In the statement, the HNEC also indicated that there are candidates who have clear fraud in their university degrees before deleting it from the website an hour later.
A member of the board of directors of the HNEC, Abdul Hakim Belkhair, denied the authenticity of the statement, while Abu Bakr Marda, who is also a member of the board of directors claimed that the HNEC's official website was probably hacked, saying that this statement was "fake".
