The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) announced on Sunday that the total number of cards that were delivered to those registered to vote in the municipal elections amounted to 135,042 voters.
HNEC explained, in a post on its official Facebook page, that the total percentage of cards received reached 64%, indicating that the total number of "male" voters who received their cards totaled 94,196 voters, or 63% of those registered in the voter registry.
As for the number of "female" voters who received their cards, reached 40,846 voters, or 66% of those registered in the voter registry, according to the same source.
