Emad Al-Sayeh, Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), met with German Ambassador to Libya Ralf Tarraf to discuss preparations for the upcoming municipal council elections.
In a statement, the Commission said that the meeting, held on Monday at the HNEC HQ in Tripoli, is part of international efforts to support Libya's democratic process.
Ambassador Tarraf expressed Germany's appreciation for the HNEC's commitment to conducting elections according to global standards.
He reiterated Berlin's readiness to provide technical and advisory support to ensure the commission is fully prepared for the upcoming polls.
