The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has asked municipal council election candidates to provide a financial statement of electoral propaganda expenses.
According to a statement issued by the HNEC, “Each candidate or list must submit a detailed financial statement to the HNEC.
The date of the municipal elections has been set for next November 16 after several postponements by the HNEC since last June, to provide the opportunity for wider participation in the voting process, after it was held for the first time in 2013.
