The Presidential Council decided to pay compensation to the people of Sirte whose homes were damaged due to the war against ISIS in 2016.
The Presidential Council's decision stipulates that the Council of Ministers' resolution No. (271) for the year 2012 establishes the rules and regulations for estimating the value of compensation and the mechanisms for paying it for damaged buildings.
The decision of the Presidential Council urged the competent authorities to act from the date of its issuance and put it into force.
