The Chairman of the Finance and Planning Committee in the House of Representatives (HoR), Omar Tantoush, has held a meeting with the Extraordinary Budget Follow-up Committee of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), in order to follow up on the implementation of its budget.
The NOC committee presented the steps it had taken to increase production, after liquidating NOC operational and development budget, as well as addressing previous commitments that would contribute to stabilizing and increasing production, reviewing NOC's plan for the year 2022 and the tripartite plan 2022-2025.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Farhat bin Qadara, had announced that the tripartite plan, in cooperation with companies operating in the oil sector, aims to bring Libya’s oil production to two million barrels per day.
