Adel Bakkar, Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the parallel government -appointed by the House of Representatives- met with the Greek ambassador to Libya to discuss the potential participation of Greek business entities and corporations in the reconstruction initiatives within Benghazi and other urban centres in Libya.
The meeting convened at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Benghazi in the presence of the chamber's president, members, and the Greek consul.
Deliberations encompassed a wide array of topics of shared interest, primarily within the realms of politics, economics, and investment.
They also reviewed procedures related to visa issuance, opening Libyan airspace to Greek carriers, and establishing a maritime route between Benghazi and Athens to enhance cooperation and foster relations between Libya and Greece.
