The spokesman for the House of Representatives (HoR), Abdullah Balihik, said on Monday that the House of Representatives held a meeting Monday, which was attended by a number of its members at its headquarters in Tobruk, to discuss the draft law on the referendum for the permanent constitution of the country.

Balihik added that members began to discuss the draft referendum law before the suspension of the meeting, which is due to resume Tuesday, pointing out that the meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the HoR, Aqila Saleh and the presence of 78 members.

It is worth noting that the Libyan Constitution Drafting Assembly handed over the draft constitution in July last year for the HoR to issue the referendum law.
