The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aguila Saleh, discussed on Sunday, with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Japanese Embassy to Libya, Masaaki Amadera, the developments in the situation in Libya.

According to the official spokesman for the council, Abdullah Bliheq, the two sides stressed the need for a unified executive authority whose task is to implement the electoral process according to the will of the Libyan people.

Saleh said that the HoR had completed all procedures related to holding presidential and parliamentary elections, the latest of which was the 13th constitutional amendment and the issuance of laws in this regard at an earlier time.
