The spokesman of the House of Representatives (HoR), Abdullah Blehiq, said that the scheduled meeting of Monday by the HoR did not take place due to lack of a quorum.

Blehiq explained in a press statement that the presidency of the HoR held consultations with a number of MPs who attended on the subject of processing the referendum law for the upcoming elections.

Blehiq added that the items that were on the agenda of Monday's session were the 10th amendment to the Constitutional Declaration and the inclusion of new proposals relating to executive power.
