A North Korean medical team arrived at the Martyr Attia Al-Kaseh Teaching Hospital in Kufra city, southeastern Libya, the hospital has announced.

The medical group arrived on a private plane at Kufra Airport on Tuesday evening.

The hospital disclosed that the Korean staff consists of 38 medical personnel, among them specialists and nurses.

Residents will have access to medical checkups in several specialties, such as general surgery, anesthesia, gynecology and obstetrics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, cardiovascular disease, orthopedics, internal medicine, dentistry, and physical therapy.
