Director of the Information Office of the Meteorological Center, Mohammed Sibai, said Saturday that a depression accompanied by a hot air mass coming from Algeria is gradually moving towards western Libya bringing with it hotter temperatures starting from Sunday.

Al-Sibai said in a press statement that the high temperatures will be noticeable during Sunday and Monday, indicating that it will range between 33 and 39 degrees Celsius, which makes the atmosphere relatively hot in the west part of the country.

The areas of western Libya witnessed in mid-May rain, thunderstorms and low temperatures as a result of an atmospheric depression accompanied by a cold air mass.
