The National Human Rights Committee in Libya has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the arbitrary detention of football player Mohammed Zaabiya.
In a statement, the committee confirmed that it is following up with great concern the arbitrary detention of Zaabiya since Thursday by the Stability Support Agency in Tripoli, demanding the direct release of Zaabiyeh without any restriction or condition.
It also expressed its condemnation of the continuing incidents of arbitrary detention and arrests without justification and legal basis, which constitute a violation and undermining of the rule of law and justice, as well as a gross violation of human and citizenship rights.
